To the Thessalonians B 1: 3-12: The Judgment at Christ’s Coming
3 We should always thank God for you, brothers, as he deserves, because your trust increases and the love of each one of all of you for each other grows, 4 just as we should boast about them for you in God’s communities, about your patient endurance and trust in all your persecutions and troubles that you endure, 5 proof of the righteous judgment of God to make you worthy for God’s kingdom, for which you also suffer, 6 since it is righteous for God to pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and relief from your troublers for you with us, in the revelation of our lord Yeshua from heaven with the messengers of his power 8 in a flame of fire, giving retribution to those who don’t know God and those who don’t obey the good news of our lord Yeshua, 9 who pay the price, everlasting punishment, away from the face of the lord and the glory of his strength, 10 when he comes to be glorified by his holy ones and to be admired by all who trust that our witness was believed by you in that day. 11 And therefore God sends them a working of deceit so that they believe the lie, 12 so that all those who do not believe the truth but rather delight in unrighteousness are judged.

To the Thessalonians B 1: 13-17: Chosen for Salvation
13 And we should always thank God about you, brothers loved by the lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation in holiness of spirit and trust in truth, 14 for which he [also] called you through our good news to possess the glory of our lord Yeshua the Messiah. 15 Therefore, brothers, stand firm, and hold on to the traditions that you received either through word or through our letter.
16 And he, our lord Yeshua the Messiah and [the] God our father who loves us and gives everlasting comfort and good hope in grace, 17 will comfort your hearts and strengthen you in every deed and good word.

To the Thessalonians B 3: 1-5: Pray for Us
1 Pray the rest, brothers, for us, that the word of the lord may make progress and be glorified just as with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wrong and evil men: for trust isn’t everyone’s. 3 But the lord is faithful, who strengthens us and keeps us from evil. 4 And we have worked in the lord among you, because of what we proclaim [and] do and will do.
5 And may the lord guide your hearts into God's love and the Messiah's patient endurance.

To the Thessalonians B 3: 6-15: Warning against Idleness
6 And we warn you, brothers, in the name of [our] lord Yeshua the Messiah, to guard against every brother walking lazily and not according to the tradition that he received from us. 7 For you must know how you should imitate us, because we weren’t lazy among you 8 nor did we eat bread as a gift from anyone, but rather with labor and toil night and day we worked so as not to be a burden on any of you: 9 not because we don’t have authority, but rather in order to give you an example to imitate us. 10 For also when we were with you, we announced this to you, that if anyone doesn’t want to work, let him not eat either. 11 For we heard that some among you are walking lazily, not working but being busybodies: 12 and we declare to these and urge them in the name of the lord Yeshua the Messiah, that working quietly they may eat their own bread.
13 And you, brothers, don’t become tired of doing good. 14 And if anyone doesn't obey our word through the letter, take note of this one not to associate with him, so that he may be made ashamed: 15 and don't consider him as an enemy, but rather warn him like a brother.

To the Thessalonians B 3: 16-18: Benediction
16 And may the lord of peace himself give you peace through everything in every way. The lord be with all of you.
17 The greeting is in my own, Paul's, hand, which is the sign in every letter: I write thus. 18 The grace of our lord Yeshua the Messiah be with all of you.
