To Timothy 2 1: 3-18: Loyalty to the Gospel
3 I have grace with God, whom I worship from the forefathers in a clean conscience, as I have unremitting memory of you in my prayers night and day, 4 yearning to see you, being reminded of your tears, so that I may be filled with grace, 5 receiving reminders of the unfeigned faith in you, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunike, and I am persuaded that (it is) also in you. 6 Through which relationship I remind you to rekindle the favor of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control. 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the witness of our lord nor my bondage, but rather partake in suffering with the good news according to the power of God, 9 who saves and calls us with a holy call, not according to our works but according to the same plan and joy, given to us in Christ Jesus before eternal times, 10 and it is now shown through the manifestation of our savior Christ Jesus, who indeed nullified death and illuminated life and incorruption through the good news 11 for that which has been placed I (am) a preacher and apostle and teacher, 12 through which relationship I also suffer these (things): but do not be ashamed, for I know in what I have believed and been persuaded that he is powerful to guard what is entrusted to me for that day. 13 Have a pattern of healthy words which you heard from me in faith and love in Christ Jesus: 14 guard the good (thing that is) entrusted through the holy spirit who lives in us.
15 You know this, that all those in Asia abandoned me, of whom is Phugelos and Hermogenes. 16 May the lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphoros, because he revived me many times and was not ashamed of my chains, 17 but coming to Rome he earnestly sought and found me; 18 may the lord give him mercy to find beside the lord in that day. And as many as you served in Ephesus, you know (them) better.

To Timothy 2 2: 1-13: A Good Soldier of Christ Jesus
1 Therefore you, my child, clothed in crace in Christ Jesus, 2 and what you heard from me through many witnesses, entrust these (things) to faithful men, who will be enough to teach others. 3 Suffer with them as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one is involved in soldiering through the hard work of life, so that he may be acceptable to the warriors. 5 And if anyone also has contended, he is not crowned if he hasn't completed according to rules. 6 The tired gardener must first partake of the crops. 7 Understand what I say: for the lord will give you in all understanding.
8 Remember Jesus Christ rising from the dead, from the seed of David, according to my good news, 9 in which I suffer evil as far as bondage as a malefactor, but the word of God is not needed: 10 through this I endure all through the chosen (ones), so that they also may hit (on) salvation in Christ Jesus with eternal praise. 11 The word (is) faithful:
for if we die with (him), we will also live with (him): 12 if we endure, we will also rule with (him): if we disown (him), that (one) will also disown us: 13 if we are unfaithful, that (one) remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

To Timothy 2 2: 14-26: An Approved Workman
14 Remember these (things,) swearing before God not to engage in petty dispute about words, good for nothing, on an overturning of hearers. 15 Do your best to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman, cutting the word of truth straight. 16 And shun wicked babbling: for from more ungodliness grows 17 and their word will be held like gangrene spreading. Of which is Humenaios and Philetos, 18 who missed the mark about the truth, saying that [the] resurrection is happening now, and they overturn the faith of some. 19 However the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal: The lord knew those who were his, and, Each who names the name of the lord must remove (himself) from wickedness.
20 And in a great house there is not one gold and silver implement but rather also wood and clay, and indeed what (is) for honor and what (is) for dishonor: 21 therefore if anyone cleanses himself from these, the implement will be for honor, made holy, useful to the master, ready for each good work. 22 And flee youthful desires, and pursue righteousness(,) faith(,) love(,) peace(,) with calling the lord from clean hearts. 23 And refuse dull and uneducated debates, seeing that they make fights: 24 and a slave of the lord must not fight but rather be gentle to all, good at teaching, longsuffering, 25 educating resisters in humility, whether God may give them repentance into understanding of truth 26 and return them to sobriety from the trap of the devil, being taken captive from him into the will of that (one).

To Timothy 2 3: 1-9: The Character of Men in the Last Days
1 And know this, that in the last days there will be painful times: 2 for men will be self-loving(,) money-loving(,) vagabondish(,) haughty blasphemers, disobedient(,) ungracious(,) unholy parents 3 without natural affection(,) truceless(,) slanderous(,) powerless(,) ferocious(,) hostile to good 4 traitors(,) falling forward(,) stupid, voluptous even more than pious, 5 having the form of godliness but denying its power: and turn these. 6 For from these are those who go into houses and take foolish women captive(,) heaping what is brought with intricate sinful desires, 7 always learning and never able to enter understanding of truth. 8 And the course of Iannes and Iambres resisted Moses, thus also these will resist the truth, men who bring perception to nothing, untaught about faith. 9 But rather they do not cut away on more: for their lack of understanding will be conspicuous in everything, as it is also of those.

To Timothy 2 3: 10-4: 8: Last Charge to Timothy
10 And you are following my teaching, training, plan, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, mishaps, whatever happens to me in Antioch, in Ikonium, in Lystra, I endured such persecutions and the lord rescued me from all. 12 And also all who wish to live piously in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 And evil men and sorcerers increase to more severity(,) decieving and being decieved. 14 But you remain in what you learned and were made trustworthy, seeing beside some you learned 15 and because from infants you knew [the] sacred writings, (they) cannot mislead you (who are) in salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 Each writing (is) breathed by God and useful for teaching, for refuting error, for correcting, for rearing children in righteousness, 17 so that you may be a perfect man of God, finished for each good work.
1 I protest solemnly before God and Christ Jesus who is going to judge the living and the dead, and his manifestation and his kingdom: 2 I preached the word, I stood on (it) in the opportune moment and in the inopportune moment, I refuted, I rebuked, I encouraged, in all endurance and teaching. 3 For there will be a season when they will not put up with sound teaching but rather according to their own desires they will add teachers to themselves tickling the report 4 and indeed they will turn away from the report of truth, and be turned aside to myths. 5 And you be sober in everything, endure evil, do the work of a preacher of the good news, accomplish your service.
6 For I am now being offered as a libation, and the season of release stands on me. 7 I fought the good fight for the prize, completed the race, kept the faith: 8 the crown of righteousness remaining for me is laid away, which the lord will give me in that day, the just judge, and not only for me but also for all who loved his manifestation.

To Timothy 2 4: 9-18: Personal Instructions
9 Hurry to come to me quickly: 10 for Demas left me behind(,) loving the age now and went to Thessalonike, Kreskes to Galatia, Titos to Dalmatia: 11 Luke alone is with me. Taking up Mark, bring (him) with you, for he is useful for service to me. 12 And I sent Tychikus to Ephesus. 13 The cloak which I left behind in Troas with Karpos(,) come (and) bring (it) to me, and especially the sheepskin scrolls. 14 The brazen Alexander gave indication of much evil to me: may the lord repay him according to his works" 15 and you guard him, for he resisted our words greatly.
16 In my first defense no one came to me, but rather everyone deserted me: I hope it is counted to them: 17 but the lord was with me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fulfilled and all the nations might hear, and be rescued from the mouth of the lion. 18 The lord rescued me from all evil workds and will save (me) for his heavenly kingdom: to him (be) glory in the ages of ages, amen.
