To Titus 1: 1-4: Salutation
1 Paul, God’s slave, and emissary of Yeshua the Messiah according to the faith of God’s chosen ones and the knowledge of truth that leads to godliness 2 with the hope of eternal life, which the real God announced from ancient times, 3 he also revealed his word in his own times in preaching, which I believed according to the command of our savior God, 4 to Titus, a true son according to the common trust, grace, and peace from God the father and Yeshua the Messiah, our savior.

To Titus 1: 5-16: Titus' Work in Crete
5 For this (reason) I left you in Crete, that the remainder might be ordered and set out in the city (as) elders, as I commanded you, 6 if anyone is chosen, (he must be) a man of one wife, having faithful children, not with accusations of wastefulness or bad temper. 7 For the chosen bishop must be like God's steward, not stubborn, not prone to anger, not fond of wine, not greedy, not shameless, 8 but rather hospitable, a lover of good, wise, righteous, pious, self-controlled, 9 holding firmly to the teaching of the faithful word, so that he may be powerful also to encourage with sound teaching and to convince naysayers of their error.
10 For there are many disobedient ones, empty talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 who should emasculate themselves, who brought whole houses to ruin, teaching things they should not for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of them, their own prophet, said,
Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.
This testimony is true. Through which charge I rebuked them sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not holding to Judaizing myths and men's covenants that turn away from the truth. 15 To the clean everything is clean: but to the defiled and untrusting nothing is clean, but rather their mind and understanding are defiled. 16 They affirm they know God, but deny his works, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for every good work.

To Titus 2: 1-15: The Teaching of Sound Doctrine
1 And you, say what is proper to sound teaching. 2 Old men are to be sober, respectable, self-controlled, sound in trust, love, obedience: 3 likewise old women (should be) reverent in behavior, not devils, not given to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may teach the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 (they should be) self-controlled, modest, good stewards, obedient to their own husbands, so that God’s word will not be blasphemed. 6 Likewise encourage the young men to be moderate 7 about everything, offering themselves as models of good works, in the teaching, uncorrupted, dignified, 8 obedient to the word, unblameable, so that he may confound whoever is from the opposition, who will have nothing to say about our evil. 9 Slaves are to obey their own masters in everything, be agreeable, not talk back, 10 not be thieves but rather people who give evidence of the whole good trust, so that they may make the teaching of our savior God attractive in everything.
11 For God’s saving grace shines forth in everything 12 to discipline us, so that we may deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and live moderately and righteously and piously in the current age, 13 awaiting the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of the greatest God and our savior Yeshua the Messiah, 14 who gave himself for us, so that he might redeem us from all lawlessness and cleanse for himself a special people, zealous for good deeds.
15 Say all these things and encourage and reprove with all authority: don’t let anyone look down on you.

To Titus 3: 1-11: Maintain Good Deeds
1 Remind them to obey rulers and authorities, to submit to authority, to be ready for every good deed, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and gentle, to be dressed in all humility before all men.
3 For we were then and we are now stupid, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to lusts and various pleasures, passing our lives in evil and jealousy, hated and hating each other. 4 But when the kindness and compassion of our savior God were revealed, 5 not by the works which we may have done in righteousness but according to his mercy did he save us through the washing of new birth and the renewal of the holy spirit, 6 which he poured out on us richly through our savior Yeshua the Messiah, 7 so that, being made righteous by his grace, we may become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 The word is truthful: and I want you speak confidently about these things, so that when concerned about doing good works those who have trusted God will do them: this is good and beneficial to men. 9 And avoid foolish debates and genealogies and quarrels and battles about the law: for they are useless and vain. 10 Warn a divisive man with one and a second instruction, 11 (then) seeing that such a person is corrupted and is still sinning, he is self-condemned.

To Titus 3: 12-15: Personal Instructions and Greetings
12 When I send Artemas or Tychikos to you, hurry to come to me in Nicopolis, for I have decided to winter there. 13 Send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos quickly, so that they may lack nothing. 14 And let our people learn to practice good deeds for necessary needs, so that they may not be barren.
15 All those with me greet you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with all of you.
