According to Luke 14: 15-24: The Parable of the Great Banquet
15 And hearing a certain (one) of those eating with (him) said these (things) to him, "Happy (is) whoever eats bread in the kingdom of God." 16 But he said to him, "A certain man made a great banquet, and invited many 17 and sent his slave in the hour of the banquet to say to the invitees, 'Come, because now it is ready.' 18 And all(,) from the (first) one(,) began to excuse (themselves). The first said to him, 'I bought a filed and I have a compulsion to go (and) see it: I ask you, have me excused.' 19 And another said, 'I bought five yokes of cows and I am going to approve them: I ask you, have me excused.' 20 And another said, 'I married a woman and therefore cannot come.' 21 And arriving the slave reported these (things) to his master. Then being furious the master of the house said to his slave, 'Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the city and bring the poor and the cripples and the blind and the lame here.' 22 And the slave said, 'Master, what you ordered is done and there is still room.' 23 And the master said to the slave, 'Go into the roads and paths and bring (everyone) to come in, so that my house may be filled: 24 for I tell you that none of those men invited will taste my banquet.' According to Luke 14: 25-33: The Cost of Discipleship
25 And many crowds walked along with him, and turning he said to them, 26 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters and still even his own life*, he cannot be my disciple. 27 Whoever does not carry his cross and come after me, he cannot be my disciple. 28 For who of ou wants to build a tower (and) doesn't first sit down (and) figure out the cost, if he has (enough) for completion? 29 Lest when he lays the foundation and cannot finish all those watching will begin to ridicule him 30 saying that 'This man began to build and couldn't finish.' 31 Or what king goes to another king to meet in battle (and) does not sit down (and) first plan if he(,) with ten thousands(,) is able to fight him with twenty thousands coming on him? 32 And if not, when he is still far away (he will) send messengers to ask for peace. 33 Thus therefore each of you who does not part with all his own possessions cannot be my disciple.

According to Luke 15: 1-7: The Parable of the Lost Sheep
1 And all the tax collectors and sinners were approaching him to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes also grumbled saying that 'This (man) welcomes sinners and eats with them.' 3 But he told them this parable saying, 4 "What man of you(,) who has one hundred sheep and loses one of them(,) will not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost (one) until he finds it? 5 And finding it he puts (it) on his shoulders rejoicing 6 and entering (his) house calls his friends and relatives, 'Rejoice with me, because I found my lost sheep.' 7 I tell you that thus will be rejoicing in heaven over one sinner turning around than ninety-nine righteous (men) who have no need of turning around.

According to Luke 15: 11-32: The Parable of the Lost Son
11 And he said, "A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger said to their father, 'Father, give me the leftover part of the wealth.' And he divided the livelihood for them. 13 And after not many days(,) bringing everything(,) the younger son left home to a far-off region and there squandered his wealth living immorally. 14 But when he had spent everything a mighty famine came on that region, and he began to lack (food). 15 And he went (and) united (himself) with one of the citizens of that region, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs. 16 And he desired strongly to be filled with the (carob) pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave to him. 17 And in himself coming he said, 'How many hired men of my father are full of bread, but here I am destroyed by a famine. 18 I will get up (and) go to my father and say to him, 'Father, I sinned against heaven and before you, 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son: make me like one of your hired men.' ' 20 And getting up he went to his own father. But while he was still distant (and) far off his father saw him and had compassion and ran (and) fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 But the son said to him, 'Father, I sinned against heaven and before you, no longer am I worthy to be called your son.' 22 But the father said to his slaves, 'Quickly bring a robe first and clothe him and give a ring for his hand and sandals for the feet. 23 And bring the fattened calf, slaughter (it), and eating we will celebrate, 24 because this(,) my son(,) was dead and has risen, was lost and is found.' And they began to celebrate.
25 But the older son was in the field: and as he came (and) approached the house, he heard music and dancing, 26 and calling one of the servants he inquired whatever these (things) might be. 27 And he said to him that 'Your brother is here, and your father killed the fattened calf, because he got (him) back being in good health.' 28 But he was angry and didn't want to go in, and his father came out (and) called him. 29 And answering he said to his father, 'Behold how many years I slaved for you and never neglected your command, and you never gave me a goat so that I could celebrate with my friends: 30 but when your son(,) this one who devoured your livelihood with prostitutes(,) came, you slaughtered the fattened calf for him.' 31 And he said to him, 'Child, you are always with me, and all (that is) mine is yours: 32 but it is necessary to celebrate and rejoice, because your brother(,) this (one) was dead and is alive, and lost and is found.' According to Luke 16: 1-13: The Parable of the Dishonest Steward
1 And he also spoke to the disciples, "A certain man who was rich had a steward, and this (one) brought charges (against) him for he was squandering his belongings. 2 And calling him he said to him, 'What (is) this I hear about you? Return the matter of your stewarship,' for he could not while still stewarding. 3 But the steward said in himself, 'What will I do, because my master will take the stewardship from me? I cannot dig, I am ashamed to beg. 4 (I) know what I will do so that when I am removed from the stewardship they will welcome me in their houses.' 5 And calling every one of his own master's debtors he said to the first, 'How much do you owe my master?' 6 And he said, 'A hundred jars of oil.' And he said to him, 'Take your bills and sit down (and) quickly write (a new bill) for fifty.' 7 Next he said to another, 'How much do you owe?' And he said, 'A hundred cors of grain.' He says to him, 'Take your bills and write (a new one) for eighty.' 8 And the master approved the steward of unrighteousness because he acted wisely; for the sons of this age are wiser than* the sons of light in this very generation. 9 And I tell you, make friends for yourselves out of the money of unrighteousness, so that when he neglects to welcome you in the eternal tent. 10 He who (is) faithful in the smallest (thing) is also faithful in many**, and he who (is) unjust in the smallest (thing) is also unjust in many*. 11 Therefore if you are not faithful in unrighteous money, what truth (is) in you? 12 And if you are not faithful in what (is) anothers, what (is) yours(,) given to you?
13 "No servant can serve two masters: for he will hate one and love the other, or be loyal to one and despise the other. You can't serve God and money."

According to Luke 16: 14-18: The Law and the Kingdom of God
14 But the money-loving Pharisees heard all these (things) and ridiculed him. 15 And he said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts: because what (is) in man (is) the highest abomination before God.
16 "The law and the prophets (extend) as far as John: from then the kingdom of God is announced and each forces (a way) into it.
17 "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one line of the law to fall.

According to Luke 16: 19-31: The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 "And a certain man was rich, and he dressed in purple cloth and fine linen celebrating every day splendidly. 20 But a poor (man) whose name (was) Lazarus(,) covered with sores(,) was thrown near his gate 21 and he wanted to be satisfied from the leavings from the table of the rich (man): but rather even the dogs came (and) licked his sores. 22 And it happened that the poor (man) died and was carried away by angels into the lap of Abraham: and the rich (man) also died and was buried. 23 And in hades(,) lifting his eyes, being in torments, he saw Abraham from far off and Lazarus in his lap*. 24 And calling he said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger of water and cool my tongue, because I am in great pain in this flame.' 25 But Abraham said, 'Child, be reminded that you took your good (things) in your life, and likewise Lazarus (took) the bad (things): but now here he is comforted, but you are in great pain. 26 And in all these a great chasm is fixed between us and you, where those who want to descend from here to you cannot, nor can they cross over from there to us.' 27 But he said, 'Therefore I ask you, father, so that you may send him to my father's house, 28 for I have five brothers, where he will witness to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.' 29 But Abraham says, 'They have Moses and the prophets: let them listen to them.' 30 But he said, 'No, father Abraham, rather if someone goes to them from the dead they will turn around.' 31 But he said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.' According to Luke 17: 1-10: Some Sayings of Jesus
1 And he said to his disciples, "It is impossible not to come on obstacles, yet woe to (him) through whom it comes: 2 it is better for him if a millstone (is) put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than that one of these little ones be caused to sin. 3 Watch out for yourselves. If your brother sins rebuke him, and if he turns around forgive him. 4 And if seven times of a day he sins against you and seven times turns to you saying, 'I'm turning around,' forgive him."
5 And the apostles* said to the lord, "Increase faith to us." 6 And the lord said, "If you have faith like a seed of mustard, say** to [this] mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea:' and it will obey** you.
7 "But who of you has a slave plowing or shepherding, who comes in from the field (and) says to you, 'Come (and) set the table immediately,' 8 on the contrary(,) no(,) you say to him, 'Prepare what I will eat and being ready serve me until I eat and drink and after these (things) you eat and drink'? 9 Does he not have grace for the slave because he did what (was) commanded? 10 Thus you also, when you do all that (is) commanded you, say that 'We are mere slaves, who should do what we have done.' 11 And it happened that he was going to Jerusalem and he passed through the middle of Samaria and Galilee. 12 And when he entered a certain village ten leprous men who stood at a distance met [him]. 13 And they lifted (their) voices (to him) saying, "Jesus(,) master, have mercy on us." 14 And seeing he said to them, "Go (and) show yourselves to the priests." And it happened that when they went they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned with a great shout praising God, 16 and fell on (his) face before his feet thanking him: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And answering Jesus siad, "Weren't the ten cleansed? Where (are) the nine? 18 Didn't they find (themselves) turning around to give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19 And he said to him, "Get up (and) go: your trust has saved you."

According to Luke 17: 20-37: The Coming of the Kingdom
20 And he was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God is coming (and) answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation, 21 not (when) they say , 'Behold (it is) here' or 'There,' for behold the kingdom of God is in you."
22 And he said to the disciples, "Days are coming when you will long for one of the days to see the son of man and you will not see (it). 23 And they will say to you, 'Behold (he is) there,' [or,] 'Behold (he is) here,' do not go or seek after (it). 24 For just as lightning flashes from heaven and lights what (is) above heaven, so will the son of man be [in his day]. 25 But first he must suffer much and be rejected by this generation. 26 And just as it was in Noach's days, so it will be in the day of the son of man: 27 they ate, they drank, they married, they were married, from the beginning (to) the day Noach entered the ark and the cataclysm came and all were destroyed. 28 Likewise just as in Lot's days: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built: 29 but in the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed all. 30 According to these (things) will the day of the son of man be revealed. 31 In that day he who will be on the roof and his cloak in the house, he must not go down to get it, and likewise he in the field must not turn back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whoever seeks to obtain his life* will lose it, and whoever loses (his life*) will save it. 34 I tell you, in this night two will be in one bed, one will be taken and the other left; 35 two will be grinding (grain) at the same (millstone), one will be taken, and the other left." 37** And answering they say to him, "How, lord?" According to Luke 18: 1-8: The Parable of the Widow and the Judge
1 And he told them a parable to (show) that they must always pray and not be discouraged, 2 saying, "There was a certain judge in a certain city who did not fear God and respect man. 3 And there was a certain widow in that city and she came to him saying, 'Get me justice against my enemy.' 4 And he did not want (to) for a time. But after these (things) he said in himself, 'Even if I fear neither God nor respect man, 5 because of all the trouble to me I will grant this widow justice, lest she come (and) wear me out at the end.' "
6 And the lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge says: 7 but God certainly will not do retribution on his chosen (ones) who cry out to him day and night, and is he patient to them? 8 I tell you that he does that retribution in haste. Yet when the son of man comes will he find such trust on the earth?"
