According to Luke 21: 7-19: Signs and Persecutions
7 And they asked him saying, "Teacher, therefore when will these (things) be and what (is) the sign when these are about to happen?" 8 And he said, "See that you are not deceived: for many will come in my name saying, 'I am (he),' and 'The time has come.' Do not go after them. 9 But when you hear (of) wars and riots, do not be terrified: for these must happen first, but not immediately (will) the end (be)."
10 Then he said to them, "Nation* will rise against nation* and kingdom against kingdom, 11 and great earthquakes and in places there will be famines and plagues**, and dreadful sights and great signs from heaven. 12 But before all these (things) their hands will fall on you and they will persecute (you), handing (you) over to the synagogues and prisons, leading you before kings and governors for the sake of my name: 13 it will lead to witness. 14 Therefore set your hearts not to prepare ahead of time to defend (yourselves): 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom with which all your opponents will not be able to fight against nor object to. 16 And you will also be betrayed by relatives and brothers and neighbors and friends and they will kill (some) from you, 17 and you will be hated by all because of my name. 18 And (even) the hair of your head will certainly not be destroyed. 19 In your patient endurance obtain your souls."

According to Luke 21: 20-24: The Destruction of Jerusalem Foretold
20 "And when you see Jerusalem surrouned by armies, then you will know that her desolation is near. 21 Then those in Judea will flee to the hills and those in her midst will be poured out and those in the villages will not enter her, 22 because these will be days of revenge to increase all the writings. 23 Woe to those having (children) in the womb and to nursing mothers in those days: for a great distress will be on the earth and wrath (will be) for this nation, 24 and they will fall with a mouth of war and be taken captive into all the (gentile) nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the gentiles, while the seasons of the gentiles are fulfilled.

According to Luke 21: 29-33: The Lesson of the Fig Tree
29 And he told them a parable: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees: 30 when when they put (buds) out now, seeing from themselves you know that now summer is near: 31 and thus you, when you see these (things) happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Truly I tell you that this generation will certainly not pass away until all (these things) happen. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.

34 "And guard yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down in dissipation and drunkenness and everyday cares and that unexpected day come on you 35 as a trap: for it will come on all who sit on the face of the earth. 36 And you should be sleepless in each season so that you may have power escape all these (things) that (are) going to happen and to stand before the son of man."
37 And he was teaching in the temple for days, and during the nights he went out (and) spent the night on the mountain called Of Olives: 38 and all the nation came to him early in the morning to hear him in the temple.

According to Luke 22: 7-13: The Preparation of the Passover
7 And the day of unleavened (bread) came, [in] which he should set the passover: 8 and he sent Peter and John saying, "Go prepare the passover for us so that we may eat," 9 and they said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare (it)?" 10 And he told them, "Behold when you enter the city a man carrying a jar of water will meet you; follow him to the house in which he will go. 11 And you will say to the master of the house, 'The teacher says to you, 'Where is the room where I will eat the passover with my disciples?' ' 12 And that (one) will show you a great furnished upstairs room: prepare (it) there." 13 And going they found (everything) just as he told them and prepared the passover.

According to Luke 22: 24-30: The Dispute about Greatness
24 And there was also an argument among them, (about) who of them seems to be greater. 25 But he said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them and the authoritarians call them to do good. 26 But you (do not be) thus, rather the greatest of you must be like the youngest and the governor like a servant. 27 For who (is) greatest, the guest or the servant? (Is)n't (it) the guest? But I am in your midst as a servant. 28 And you are those who remain with me in my testings: 29 and I will for you just my father gave me the right to rule, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

35 And he said to them, "When I sent you without a purse and a bag and sandals, you didn't lack anything, did you?" And they said, "Nothing." 36 And he said to them, "But now he who has a purse must take (it), likewise also a bag, and he who does not have must sell his cloak and buy a sword. 37 For I tell you that this that is written must be completed in me, that 'And he was spoken of with criminals': for the end also has what (is) about me." 38 And they said, "Lord, behold two swords here." 39 And going out he went according to custom to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. 40 And being at the place he said to them, "Pray not to go into testing." 41 And he withdrew from them as if wounded (by) a rock and putting (himself) on (his) knees prayed 42 saying, "Father, if you wish(,) remove this cup from me: yet not my desire but yours be done." [43 And an angel appeared to him from heaven strenthening him. 44 And being in agony he prayed an intense (prayer): and his sweat became like lumps of blood descending on the earth.] 45 And getting up from the prayer (and) going to the disciples he found them lulled to sleep by grief, 46 and said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up (and) pray, lest you enter testing.

According to Luke 22: 54-62: Peter's Denial of Jesus
54 And grabbing him they led (him) and brought (him) into the house of the chief priest: and Peter followed from far off. 55 And (they) kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and when they sat together Peter sat among them. 56 And seeing him a maidservant who sat near the light and gazed at him said, "And this (one) was with him." 57 But he denied (it) saying, "I don't know him, woman." 58 And after a short (time) another (one) seeing him said, "And you are from them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not." 59 And after few hours another who was separated (and) leaning (on something) said, "In truth this (one) was also with him, for he is also Galilean." 60 But Peter said, "Man, I don't know what you're saying." And immediately while he was still speaking the rooster crowed. 61 And turning the lord looked Peter in the face, and Peter was reminded of the word of the lord as he said to him that 'Before the rooster crows today you will deny me thrice.' 62 And going outside he wept bitterly.
