According to Matthew 26: 57-68: Jesus before the Council
57 But those who seized Jesus brought (him) to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered. 58 But Peter followed him from a distance as far as the courtyard of the high priest(,) and entering he sat down with the servants to see the outcome. 59 But the chief priests and the whole sanhedrin were seeking false witness against Jesus so that they might kill him, 60 and they did not find many false witnesses brought forward. But finally two approached 61 (and) said, "This (man) said, 'I can tear down God's temple and build (it) during three days.' " 62 And standing up the high priest said to him, "Do you answer nothing to what these (men) testify against you?" 63 But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, "I put you to the oath in the name of the living God that you tell us if you are the Christ(,) the son of God." 64 Jesus says to him; "You have said (it); nevertheless I tell you,
from now (on) you will see the son of man sitting at the right of the powerful (one) and coming on a cloud of heaven.
65 Then the high priest tore his garment saying, "He has blasphemed; now who has need of witnesses? Behold now you have heard the blasphemy; 66 how does it seem to you?" And answering they said, "He is deserving of death."
67 Then they spat in his face and struck him, and they hit him 68 saying, "Prophesy to us, Christ, who is the one who struck you?"

According to Matthew 26: 69-75: Peter's Denial of Jesus
69 But Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard; and one slave girl came to him saying, "You also were with Jesus of Galilee." 70 But he denied (it) before everyone saying, "I don't know what you are saying." 71 But going out into the porch another saw him and says to those there, "This (man) was with Jesus of Nazareth." 72 And again he denied (it) with an oath, "I don't know the man." 73 But after a little (while) those who were there approached (and) said to Peter, "Truly you are also one of them, for even your accent makes you evident." 74 Then he began to curse himself* and vow, "I don't know the man." And immediately a rooster crowed. 75 And Peter remembered what Jesus had said, 'Before the rooster crows thrice you will deny me;' and going out he wept bitterly.

According to Matthew 27: 3-10: The Death of Judas
3 Then his betrayer(,) Judas(,) saw that he was condemned, (and) he regretted (his action and) offered the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and elders 4 saying, "I have sinned(,) betraying innocent blood." But they said, "What (is that) to us? You will see (to it)." 5 And throwing the silver coins in the temple he withdrew, and (after) going away he hanged himself. 6 But the chief priests took the silver coins (and) said, "It is not lawful to put this in the temple treasury, since it is the price of blood." 7 But after planning they bought a potter's field from them for a grave for strangers. 8 For this reason the field has been called Field of Blood to this day. 9 Then the word through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled(,) which says, 'And he recieved thirty silver coins, the price that was agreed which was agreed on from the sons of Israel, 10 and they gave them to buy a potter's field, just as the lord directed me.'

According to Matthew 27: 11-14: Jesus Questioned by Pilate

But Jesus said, "You said it." 12 And during his accusation by the chief priests and elders he answered nothing. 13 Then Pilate said to him, "Don't you hear how many (things) they testify against you?" 14 And he did not answer to them even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.

According to Matthew 27: 15-26: Jesus Sentenced to Die
15 But during the festival the governor was accustomed to release to the crowd one prisoner whom they desired. 16 And then he had a notorious prisoner named [Jesus] Barabbas. 17 Therefore when they were assembled Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release to you, [Jesus] Barabbas or Jesus who is called Christ?" 18 For he knew that they had handed him over through envy.
19 But when he sat on the judgement seat his wife sent to him saying, "To you(, do) nothing to that righteous man also; for I have suffered many (things) in a dream today because of him."
20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to demand Barabbas, (that) they might kill Jesus. 21 But answering the governor said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release to you?" But they said, "Barabbas." 22 Pilate says to them, "Therefore what will I do to Jesus called Christ?" They all say, "Let (him) be crucified." 23 But he said, "For what evil has he done?" But they shouted more saying, "Let (him) be crucified." 24 But Pilate(,) seeing that he is achieving nothing(,) but more confusion happens, taking water washed (his) hands before the crowd saying, "I am innocent of this blood; you see (that it is so)." 25 And answering all the nation said, "His blood (is) on us and on our children." 26 Then he released Barabbas to them, but beating Jesus with a whip he handed (him) over that he might be crucified.

According to Matthew 27: 27-31: The Soldiers Mock Jesus
27 Then taking Jesus into the praetorium the governor's soldiers gathered the whole cohort around him. 28 And stripping a red cloak (from someone) they put it on him, 29 and twisting together a crown of thorns they put it on his head and a reed in his right (hand), and kneeling before him they ridiculed him saying, "Greetings, King of the Jews," 30 and spitting on him they took the reed and beat his head. 31 And when they had mocked him, they stripped the cloak (from) him and put his garment on him and led him away to be crucified.

According to Matthew 27: 32- 44: The Crucifixion of Jesus
32 And going out they found a Cyrenian man named Simon, they pressed this (one) so that he might carry his cross.
33 And coming to a place named Golgotha, which is called* Place of the Skull, 34 they gave him wine to drink that had been mixed with gall, and tasting he did not want to drink. 35 But (after) crucifying him they divided his garments(,) casting lots, 36 and sitting they guarded him there. 37 And they put above his head his charge(,) which was written: This is Jesus(,) the king of the Jews.
38 Then they crucified with him two thieves, one on the right and one on the left.
39 And those passing by insulted him moving their heads 40 and saying, "Destroyer of the temple and who will build it in three days, save yourself, if you are God's son, [and] come down from the cross." 41 Likewise the chief priests also riduculed (him) with the scribes and elders (and) said, 42 "He saved others, he cannot save himself; he is king of the Jews, let him come down now from the cross and we will believe in him. 43 He entreated God, rescue him now if you will: for he said, 'I am God's** son.'" 44 Because of this the thieves crucified with him also insulted him.

According to Matthew 27: 45-56: The Death of Jesus
45 But from the sixth hour darkness came on all the land until the ninth hour. 46 But around the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a great voice saying, "Eli(,) eli(,) lema sabachthani?" This is (translated) 'My God(,) my God(,) why have you forsaken me?' 47 But a certain (one) of those standing there(,) hearing(,) said, "This (man) calls on Elijah." 48 And immediately one of them ran (and) took a sponge and filled (it) full of sour wine and lifted (it) up* with a cane (and) gave it (to him) to drink. 49 But the rest said, "Leave (it,) we may see if Elijah comes rescuing him." 50 But Jesus again shouted with a great voice (and) his spirit departed.
51 And behold the curtain of the temple was split from top to bottom into two and the land shook and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened and many bodies of the holy that have died were raised, 53 and exiting the tombs after his rising they entered the holy city and were exhibited to many.
54 And the centurion and those guarding Jesus with him saw the quake and the happenings (and) feared very much saying, "Truly this was God's son." 55 But there were many women watching from far off who had followed Jesus from Galilee serving him; 56 among them was Mary Magdalene and Mary mother of James and Joses and the mother of Zebedee's sons.

Therefore order the tomb to be secured until the third day, lest the disciples come (and) steal him and tell the people, 'He has risen from the dead,' and the last deception will be worse than the first." 65 Pilate says to them, "You have* a guard: go to secure it as you know." 66 And going they secured the tomb(,) sealing the rock with the guard.

1 But after the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning(,) Mary Magdalene came to see the tomb(,) and the other Mary. 2 And behold a great shaking came: for an angel of the lord desecending from heaven and drawing near rolled away the stone and sat above it. 3 And his appearance was as lightning and his clothing white as snow. 4 And from his fear the keepers shook and became like corpses. 5 But answering the angel said to the women, "You do not fear: for I know that you seek the crucified Jesus; 6 he is not here, for he has risen even as he said: go see the place where he lay. 7 And without delay go tell his disciples, 'He is risen from the dead, and behold he goes before you into Galilee, there you will see him: behold I have told you.' " 8 And without delay going from the tomb with fear and great joy they ran to tell his disciples. 9 And behold Jesus met them saying, "Greetings." But coming near they fell (at) his feet and worshipped him. 10 Then Jesus says to them, "Do not fear; go announce to my brothers so that they may go into Galilee, there they will see me."
