Acts of the Emissaries 1: 1-5: The Promise of the Holy Spirit
1 Indeed I have done the first matter concerning everyone, Theophilus, which Yeshua began to do and also to teach, 2 from the day he commanded the emissaries whom he chose through when the holy spirit was received: 3 to them he also showed himself alive after he suffered in many proofs, through the forty days he was seen by them and spoke of things about God’s kingdom: 4 and eating with them he commanded them not to separate from Jerusalem but to wait for the order of the father which you heard from me, 5 because John indeed baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the holy one after not many days.

Acts 1: 6-11: The Ascension of Jesus
6 Therefore indeed those with him asked him saying, “Lord, if in this time you are going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And he said to them, “It’s not for you to know times or seasons that the father established in his own authority, 8 but you will receive power of the holy spirit coming on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and [in] all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.” 9 And he was saying these things when they saw him being taken up and a cloud hid him from their eyes. 10 And as they were staring into the sky as he left, and behold two men in white clothing stood near them, 11 who also said, “Galilean men, why have you stood here staring [into] the sky? This Yeshua is hidden from you in heaven thus he will come in the same was as you saw him going into heaven.”

Acts 1: 12-26: The Choice of Judas’ Successor
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called Of Olive, which is near Jerusalem, having a sabbath’s journey. 13 And when they entered, they went up to the upstairs room where they were staying, and Peter and John and Jacob and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholemew and Matthew, Jacob son of Alphaios and Simon the Zealot and Judah son of Jacob. 14 All these were keeping company together in prayer with women and Mariam the mother of Yeshua and his brothers.
15 And in these days Peter got up in the middle of the brothers and spoke; and there was a crowd of names in it, about a hundred twenty: 16 “Men, brothers, the writing which the holy spirit foretold through the mouth of David about Judah, called guide by those who arrested Jesus, must be fulfilled, 17 because he was cursed among us and received the reward of such service.
18 Therefore indeed this one bought a field from the reward of his wickedness and becoming swollen fell in the middle and all his guts came out. 19 And he was known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field is called in their own dialect Hakal D’mar, which is Field of Blood.
20 For it is written in the book of psalms,
His house must become a desert and he must not be the one who lives in it,
and,
Another must receive his place of service.
21 Therefore he must be for us from the men who went with him in each time the lord Jesus came in and went out with us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John until the day that he was taken from us, a witness of his resurrection with us, in order to be one of these.” 23 And two stood up, Joseph called Barabbas who was surnamed Justos, and Matthew. 24 And when they approached they said, "You, lord, the knower of all hearts, show the one who is chosen from these two 25 to receive the place of this service and the emissaryship from which Judah left to go to his own place." 26 And they gave them lots and the lot fell on Matthew and he was included with the eleven emissaries.

Acts of the Emissaries 2: 1-13: The Coming of the Holy Spirit
1 And in the fulfilling of the day of pentecost everyone was together on it. 2 And suddenly there was a noise from heaven like it was bearing a violent wind and filled the whole house where they were sitting 3 and tongues spoke to them, dividing, like fire, and sitting on each one of them, 4 and everyone was filled with the holy spirit and began to speak in other languages as the spirit have them to declare.
5 And Jews were staying in Jerusalem, men brought from all the nations under heaven. 6 And when this voice happened the multitude came and gathered, for each one heard his own language as they were speaking. 7 And they were amazed and surprised, saying, “Look, isn’t everyone speaking from Galilee? 8 And how does each of us hear in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elami and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, and Judea and Cappadocia, Pontos and Asia, 10 and Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the lands of Libya that is near Cyrene, and the Roman visitors, 11 and Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs, we hear them telling the greatness of God in our own languages." 12 And all of them were amazed and greatly annoyed, one saying to another, "What does this mean?" 13 And others making fun of them said that 'They are drunk on new wine.'

Acts of the Emissaries 2: 14-42: Peter’s Speech at Pentecost
14 And Peter turned with the eleven and raised his voice and addressed them, “Judean men and all who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and pay close attention to my words. 15 For not these people aren’t drunk like you think, because it’s the third hour of the day*, 16 but rather this is what was said through the prophet Joel,
17 And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour from my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams: 18 and even on my male slaves and on my female slaves in those days I will pour from my spirit and they will prophesy. 19 And I will give wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke: 20 the sun will be changed into darkness and the moon into blood, first comes the great day of the lord and he will appear. 21 And each who calls on the name of the lord will be saved.
22 Israelite men, listen to these words: Yeshua the Nazarene, a man commended by God to you with powers and miracles and signs with which God did through him in your midst just as they and you know, 23 this with a plan that was seen and he knew God before he handed him over through the hands of you, the unrighteous who carried him away and crucified him, 24 whom God made to stand again, destroying the sufferings of death, because it was not able to save itself from him. 25 For David speaks about it,
He set the lord before me through everything from the beginning, because he is at my right lest I be shaken. 26 For this reason my heart rejoiced and my tongue was glad, and still my flesh will also live in hope, 27 because you will not abandon my soul in hades nor will you give your holy things to see decay. 28 You have made the way of life known to me, you will fill me with joy at your face.
29 Men, brothers, I have to speak to you with openness about the patriarch David because he also died and was buried, and his tomb is among us to this day. 30 Therefore a prophet possesses, and seeing that God swore to him with a vow ‘because of the fruit of his genes he will sit on his throne, 31 going before him he spoke about the resurrection of the Messiah that
he will not be abandoned to hades nor will his flesh see decay.
32 God raised this Yeshua, of which we were all witnesses: 33 therefore he is exalted at God’s right, and taking the good news of the holy spirit from the father, he pours this out, which you have [also] seen and heard. 34 For David didn’t go up to heaven, but he says,
[The] lord says to my lord, Sit at my right, 35 until I put your enemies as a footstool for your feet.
36 Therefore all the house of Israel should know for sure that God made him lord and Messiah, this Yeshua whom you crucified.”
37 And listening their hearts were pierced and they said to Peter and the rest of the emissaries, “What will we do, men and brothers?” 38 And Peter to them: “Turn from sin, [” he said, “] and each of you must be baptized in the name of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins and must receive the gift of the holy spirit. 39 For the announcement is for you and your children and everyone in the area, whom our lord God calls to himself.” 40 And he witnessed and called them with many other words, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Therefore indeed accepting his word they were baptized and in that day about 300 souls were brought over. 42 And they were devoting themselves to the teaching of the emissaries and the fellowship and the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Acts of the Emissaries 2: 43-47: Life among the Believers
43 And a fear was born in each soul, and many signs and miracles came about through the emissaries. 44 And all the believers were in it and had everything in common 45 and the possessions and belongings; they sold and shared them with everyone according to the need that each had: 46 and each day continuing together in the temple, and breaking bread according to household, they took food in rejoicing and humility of heart 47 asking God and having grace for the whole nation. And the lord added those being saved to it each day.

Acts of the Emissaries 3: 1-10: The Lame Man Healed at the Gate of the Temple
1 And Peter and John went up to the temple at the ninth hour of prayer. 2 And there was a certain man who had been bearing lameness from his mother’s womb, who was put each day by the door of the temple called Beautiful to ask for alms from those going into the temple: 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to enter the temple, asked to receive alms. 4 And looking straight at him Peter, with John, said, “Look at us.” 5 And he paid attention to them expecting to receive something from them. 6 And Peter said, “Silver and gold is not my possession, but what I have, this I give you: in the name of Yeshua the Messiah, the Nazarene, [stand up and] walk.” 7 And taking him with his right hand he got him up: and immediately his feet and ankles were strengthened, 8 and he jumped up and walked and entered the temple with them walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the nation saw him walking and praising God: 10 and they knew him, that he was the one who had been sitting in the Beautiful Gate of the temple [asking] for alms and they were filled with amazement and ecstasy at what happened to him.

Acts of the Emissaries 3: 11-26: Peter’s Speech in Solomon’s Portico
11 And when he held onto Peter and John all the nation ran to them, marveling, in the portico called Solomon’s. 12 And seeing this Peter answered the nation, “Israelite men, why are you amazed at this or why do you stare at us like we’d made him walk in our own power or godliness? 13 The God of Abraham and [the God] of Isaac and [the God] of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his child Jesus whom you indeed betrayed and denied before the face of Pilate, and that one judged to kill him: 14 and you denied the holy and righteous one and asked a man who murders to favor you, 15 you killed the author of life whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16 And about the faith of his name, this that you see and hear, he established his name, and the trusting through it gave him full health before you. 17 And now, brothers, I know that in ignorance you did this just like your rulers: 18 but God fulfilled in this way what he announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets for his Messiah to suffer. 19 Therefore repent and turn to the destruction of all your sins, 20 so that times of refreshment may come from the lord’s face and send the previously appointed Yeshua the Messiah to you, 21 whom heaven must indeed show as all the times of restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of the holy ones from the age of the prophets. 22 Indeed Moses said that The lord your God raised up a prophet like me for you from your brothers: you will listen to him, to absolutely everything that he will say to you. 23 And each soul will be destroyed from the nation if it doesn’t listen to that prophet. 24 And absolutely all the prophets from Samuel and those after spoke and announced these days. 25 You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God make with your fathers saying to Abraham, "And in your seed all the tribes of the earth will be blessed [in]. 26 To you God first sent his son, raising him from the dead, who blesses you when each one turns from your evils."

Acts of the Emissaries 4: 1-22: Peter and John before the Council
1 And while they were speaking to the nation the priests and the commander of the temple and the Sadducees fell on them, 2 greatly annoyed at them teaching the nation and announcing Yeshua’s rising from the dead, 3 and they laid hands on them and put them into prison until the next day: for it was already the seventh 4 and many of those hearing the word believed, and [the] number of men was [about] five hundred.
5 And it happened on the next day that they were brought to the rulers and the elders and the scribes in Jerusalem, 6 and Hannas the chief priest and Caiaphas and John and Alexander and many more of the ruling lineage were there, 7 and standing them in the middle they asked, “In what power or in what name did you do this?” 8 Then Peter, full of the holy spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders, 9 if we answer today in the service of man, this will save the sick in something, 10 let it be known to all of you and all the nation of Israel that in the name of Yeshua the Messiah, the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in this this man stood before you whole. 11 This is,
the stone, the one despised by your builders, which is becoming the cornerstone.
12 And salvation is in no other, for there is no other name under heaven given to men in which we must be saved.”
13 And seeing the openness of Peter and John and realizing that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and understood them because they were with Yeshua, 14 and seeing a man standing placed with them they had no opposition. 15 And ordering them to leave the sanhedrin they plotted with one another 16 saying, “What will we do to such men, because indeed it is known that signs come through them to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; it is seen and we cannot deny it. 17 But rather lest it spread even more to the people we warn them not to speak in this name nor in any men.” 18 And they ordered them a command by no means to declaim nor speak in the name of Yeshua. 19 But answering Peter and John said to them, “If it is righteous before God to listen more to you or to God, judge: 20 for we cannot not speak of what we have seen and heard." 21 And threatening them further they released them, finding no reason to command them, through the nation, because everyone was praising God at what happened: for the man on whom he did this miracle of healing was more than forty years old.

Acts of the Emissaries 4: 23-31: The Believers Pray for Boldness
23 And being released they went to their own and announced everything that the chief priests and elders said to them. 24 And hearing they raised a voice to God with one consent and said, “Master, you are the one who made heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them, 25 the holy spirit spoke about our father through the mouth of your child saying,
“Why did the people rage and nations plot purposelessly? 26 The kings of the earth stand together and the rulers are gathered on it according to the lord and according to his Messiah.
27 For they were gathered in truth in this city about your holy child Yeshua whom you anointed, and Herod and Pontius Pilate with the gentiles and the nation of Israel, 28 to do whatever your hand and [your] plan decided to do from the beginning. 29 And now, lord, take notice of their threats and give your slaves the faculty to speak all your word with boldness. 30 Extend your hand for yourself for healing and do signs and miracles through the name of your holy son Yeshua." 31 And as they were praying the place where they were gathered shook, and all of them were filled with the holy spirit and spoke God's word with boldness.

Acts of the Emissaries 4: 32-37: All Things in Common
32 And the heart and soul of the multitude of those trusting was one, and not one who had belongings said they were his own but rather everything was in common to them. 33 And with great power the emissaries gave the testimony of the resurrection of the lord Yeshua, and great grace was on all of them. 34 For there was no one needy among them: for as many as owned fields or houses or possessions, selling them brought their prices of what was collected 35 and laid it at the emissaries' feet, and it was shared with each as anyone had need. 36 And Iosef, who was surnamed Barnabas by the emissaries, which is translated son of comfort, a Levite, a Cypriot by race, 37 brought the price of his possession, a field he sold, and laid it at the feet of the emissaries.

Acts of the Emissaries 5: 1-11: Ananias and Sapphira
1 And a certain man named Hananias with his wife Sapfira sold a field 2 and he kept some back from the price, and his wife knew, and bringing a certain part he laid it at the feet of the emissaries. 3 And Peter said, “Hanania, why did Satan sell your heart, so that you deceived the holy spirit and kept some back from the sale of the land? 4 Didn’t some remain with you and a possession be sold in your own authority? So why did you put this action in your heart? You didn’t lie to men but to God.” 5 And when Hananias heard these words he fell and died, and a great fear fell on all who heard. 6 And getting up the young men ended it and carrying him out buried him. 7 And there was an interval of about three hours and his wife came in not knowing what happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me, did you give the full price of the field?” And she said, “Yes, the full price.” 9 And Peter to her, “So why did you agree to test the lord’s spirit? Look, the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door and they will carry you out.” 10 And she fell suddenly at his feet and died: and coming in the young men found her dead and bringing her out they buried her near her husband. 11 And a great fear came on the whole community and on all who heard these things.

12 And through the hands of the emissaries signs and many miracles came about among the nation. 13 And of the rest no one dared to join them, but rather the nation held them in honor. 14 And more of those who trusted were added to the lord, a number of men and also women, 15 so that even in the streets they brought in the sick and put them on couches and mats, so that when Peter came even his shadow might overshadow some one of them. 16 And a number of those around the city of Jerusalem also gathered and brought the sick and those oppressed by unclean spirits, who amazed everyone.

Acts of the Emissaries 5: 17-42: Persecution of the Apostles
17 And the chief priest and all those with him got up, being brought to the Sadducees, they were filled with zeal 18 and laying hands on the emissaries they put them in prison publicly. 19 And a messenger of the lord opened the doors of the jail by night and led them out and said, 20 “Go and turn and say all the words of this life to the nation in the temple.” 21 And hearing they went in uprightly to the temple and taught. And the chief priest arrived and those with him called the sanhedrin and all the council of the sons of Israel and sent to the jail to bring them. 22 And those who arrived to obey didn’t find them in the prison: they returned and announced it 23 saying that, “We found the jail closed with all security and the jailers stood at the doors, and opening the inside we found no one.” 24 And as they heard these words that the commander of the temple and also the chief priests heard, they were very confused at them however this had happened. 25 And someone arrived and announced to them that, “Look, the men whom you put in the prison are standing in the temple and teaching the nation.” 26 Then the commander went out with his attendants and brought them without force, for they feared that the nation would stone them.
27 And bringing them they stood them in the sanhedrin. And the chief priest asked them 28 saying, “[Certainly] we command you with a command not to teach in this name, and behold you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and planned bring the blood of this man on us.” 29 And answering Peter and the emissaries said, “One must obey God rather than men. 30 From our fathers God raised Yeshua whom you murdered, hanging him on a tree: 31 God exalted this one at his right as ruler and savior [to] bring repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. 32 And we are witnesses of these words and the holy spirit that God gave to those who obey him.”
33 And those who heard were furious and planned to condemn them to death. 34 And a certain Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law honored by all the nation, got up in the sanhedrin and commanded the men to do out of a little 35 and he said to them, “Israelite men, you hold against these men themselves what you are going to do. 36 For before these days Theudas rose up claiming to be someone, whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined: he was killed, and every one of those who were added to him scattered and became no one. 37 After this Judah the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and incited the nation to revolt after him: and that one was destroyed and each one of those added to him was dispersed. 38 And now I tell you, leave these men and let them alone: because if this plan or this deed is from men, it will be destroyed, 39 and if it is from god, you can’t destroy them, lest you also be found God-killers.” And they paid attention to him 40 and summoning the emissaries and beating them they ordered them not to speak in the name of Yeshua and let them go. 41 Therefore indeed they went out from the face of the sanhedrin rejoicing, because they were considered worthy to suffer shame for the name, 42 and each day they didn't stop teaching and announcing the good news of the Messiah Yeshua in the temple and house by house.

Acts of the Emissaries 6: 1-7: The Appointment of the Seven
1 And in these days, being full of disciples, there was a grumble of the Greeks against the Hebrews, that their widows were neglected in the daily service (of food). 2 And gathering the number of their disciples, the twelve said, “It isn’t right for us to leave God’s word to serve tables. 3 So choose, brothers, seven men who are witnessed from yourselves, full of the spirit and wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this need, 4 and we will continue in prayer and the service of the word.” 5 And the word pleased the whole number and they elected Stephen, a man full of trust and the holy spirit, and Philip and Prochronon and Nikanor and Timon and Parmena and Nikolaus, an Antiochene proselyte, 6 whom they stood before the emissaries, and praying laid hands on them.
7 And the word of God grew and multiplied greatly the number of disciples in Jerusalem and much of the crowd of priests obeyed in trust.
