According to Matthew 5: 17-20: Teaching about the Law
17 Do not suppose that I have come to destroy the law of the prophets: I have not come to destroy (it) but to fulfill (it). 18 For truly I say to you: while heaven and earth might disappear, (but) an iota in one part of a letter may not disappear from the law until everything is fulfilled. 19 Therefore whoever may have broken one of the least of these commandments and might have taught as men, he will be called smallest in the kingdom of heaven: but might have done ( the commandments) and taught (not as men), this one will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that if your righteousness may not have abounded more than (that of) the scribes and Pharisees, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven.

According to Matthew 5: 21-26: Teaching about Anger
21 You have heard that it was said to the ancients, "Do not murder": and whoever might have murdered, he is deserving of judgement. 22 But I tell you that each one who is angry with his brother is deserving of judgement: and whoever might have called his brother "Imbecile", he is deserving (to go before) the sanhedrin: and whoever might have said "You worthless fool", he is deserving (to go) into gehenna of fire. 23 Therefore if you are presenting your gift before the altar (and) there you remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go first to be reconciled to your brother, and then come offer your gift. 25 Be coming to terms with your enemy quickly, while of whom you are with him in the way, lest the enemy hand you over to the judgement and the judge to the servant and you be thrown into prison. 26 I tell you truly, you will not come out (of) that place until you pay the last cent.

According to Mattew 5: 27-30: Teaching about Adultery
27 You have heard that it was said, "Do not commit adultery". 28 But I tell you that each man who sees a woman against her desire has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 But if your right eye causes you to sin, cut it out and throw it from you: for it is better for you to lose one of your body parts and not your whole body to be thrown into gehenna. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it from you: for it is better for you to lose one of your body parts and not for your whole body to go into gehenna.

According to Matthew 5: 31-32: Teaching about Divorce
31 And it was said, "Whoever sends his wife away, he must give her a certificate of divorce". 32 But I tell you that each one who sends his wife away except (for) a charge of sexual immorality makes her an adulteress, and whoever(,) divorcing(, re)marries, commits adultery.

According to Matthew 5: 33-37: Teaching about Oaths
33 Again you have heard that it was said to the ancients, "Do not break an oath, and repay your vows to the lord". 34 But According to Matthew 5: 33-37: Teaching about Oaths
33 Again you have heard that it was said to the ancients, "Do not break an oath, and repay your vows to the lord". 34 But I tell you not to swear at all: not by heaven, since God's throne is there, 35 nor by the earth, since it is his footstool, nor by Jerusalem, since it is the great king's city, 36 nor even by your head, since you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let your word be yes (if you mean) yes, no (if you mean) no: and more than these is of the evil one.

According to Matthew 5: 38-42: Teaching about Retaliation
38 You have heard that it was said, "Eye for eye and tooth for tooth". 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person: rather whoever hits you in [your] right cheek, offer even the other to him: 40 and he who wishes* you will be judged and to take your cloak, release to him your tunic also: 41 and whoever forces you (to go) one mile, go two with him. 42 Two to he who demands of you, and do not reject him who wishes to borrow from you.

According to Matthew 5: 43-48: Love for Enemies
43 You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbor and hate your enemy". 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray on behalf of those who persecute you, 45 thus you may become sons of your father who is in heaven, since his sun shines on the evil and the good(,) and he sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love* those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors to the same? 47 And if you love only your brothers, what more do you do? Do not even the gentiles do the same?
48 Therefore you will be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.
*Another instance of the aorist subjunctive. Is it pemissible to translate it as present indicative?

According to Matthew 6: 1-4: Teaching about Almsgiving 1 [But] hold on to your righteousness( not to make* in front of men(,) in order to see them: and if not, you have no reward in the judgement of your father in heaven. 2 Therefore when you make a gift, do not sound a trumpet in front of yourself, as do the hypocrites in the synagogues and in the streets, that they might be praised by men: truly I tell you, they have recieved their reward in full. 3 And (when) you make a gift(,) let not your left know what your right is doing, 4 that your gift (may be) in secret: and your father who sees (what is done) in secret will reward you. *Perhaps it should be 'boast'.

According to Matthew 6: 5-15: Teaching about Prayer
5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to stand praying in the synagogues and on the corners of the wide streets, even as they appear to men: truly I tell you, they are recieving their reward fully. 6 But when you pray, go into your inner room and shutting your door pray to your father in secret: and your father who sees (what is done) in secret will reward you.
7 And praying do not babble like the gentiles, for they imagine that they will be heard in their many words. 8 Therefore do not be like them: for your father(,) whom you need to ask him before yourself(,) understands.
9 Therefor you must pray in this way: Our father who (is) in heaven: may your name be holy: 10 may your kingdom come: may your will be done: on earth even as in heaven: 11 give us our necessary bread today: 12 and forgive us our sins as we also forgive those who sin against us, 13 and do not lead us into the trial, but save us from the evil one.
14 For if you forgive men their sins, your heavenly father will forgive you also: 15 but if you do not forgive men, neither will your heavenly father forgive your sins.

16 And when you fast, do not be as the gloomy hypocrites, for they show their faces that they appear fasting to men: truly I tell you, they are recieving their reward fully. 17 But you(,) fasting(,) anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that you do not appear fasting to men but to your father who (is) in secret: and your father who sees in secret will reward you.

According to Matthew 6: 25-34: Care and Anxiety
25 For this reason I tell you, do not worry about your life(,) what you eat [or what you drink], nor your body(,) what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body than clothing? 26 Consider the birds of heaven(,) because they do not sow nor harvest nor gather into granaries, and our heavenly father keeps them: are you not worth more than them? 27 But by worrying who of you can add one cubit to his height? 28 And concerning clothing(,) why do you worry? Observe the lilies of the field(,) how they grow: they do not work or spin: 29 but I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these. 30 But if the crop of the fields is today and tomorrow God throws it into the furnace as they dress, are not all you more, fainthearted ones? 31 Therefore do not worry(,) saying, "What will we eat?" or, "What will we drink?" or, "What will we wear?" 32 For the gentiles want all things: for our heavenly father says that they will gather the crop of this sin. 33 But seek first [God's] kingdom and his righteousness, and all these he will give you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow worries about itself: the trouble is sufficient for the day.

According to Matthew 7: 1-6
1 Do not judge, that you not be judged. 2 For in which judgement you judge you will be judged, and in what measure you measure it will be measured to you. 3 But how do you see the splinter in your brother's eye, but not notice the log in your (own) eye? 4 Or how will you say to your brother, "Let me take the splinter from your eye", and behold the log in your (own) eye? 5 Hypocrites, first throw out the log from your eye, and then you will see clearly to throw out the splinter from your brother's eye. 6 Do not place sacred things before pigs, lest they trample you in their drinking and turning tear you in pieces.
