According to Matthew 7: 7-12: Ask, Seek, Knock
7 Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you: 8 for everyone who asks recieves and the one who seeks finds and it will be opened to the knocker. 9 Or what man of you*, (of) whom his son will ask bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he also asks for a fish, will he give him a snake? 11 If you(,) therefore(,) being evil know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask of him.
12 Therefore if you wish however much that men might provide for you, thus also you provide for them: for this is the law and the prophets.
*Greek has 'is' in this clause, but I removed it for better flow.

According to Matthew 7: 13-14: The Narrow Gate
13 Enter through the narrow gate: since wide (is) the gate and broad the way which leads into destruction and many are coming through it: 14 (but)* narrow is the gate and narrow the way that leads into life and few are finders of it.
*Greek has the interrogative pronoun here.

According to Matthew 7: 15-20: A Tree Known by Its Fruit
15 Watch out for pseudoprophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inside they are ravening wolves. 16 From their fruit you will recognize them. Do they gather grapes from thorn plants or figs from thistles? 17 In this way each good tree produces good fruit, but a rotten tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor (can) a rotten tree produce good fruit. 19 Each tree not making good fruit is cut down and thrown into fire. 20 So you will recognize them by their fruits.

According to Matthew 7: 21-23: I Never Knew You
21 Not all who say to me, "Lord, lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but rather he who does the will of my father in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, "Lord(,) lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name cast you demons, and in your name done many miracles?" 23 Then I will declare to them, "Never did I know you: go away from me(,) workers of wickedness."

According to Matthew 7: 24-29: The Two Foundations
24 Therefore each who hears these words of mine and does them, he will be as a wise man, who built his house upon the rock: 25 and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and struck against that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 And each who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be as a foolish man, who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew, and struck against that house, and it fell(,) and its fall was great.
28 And it came about when Jesus completed these words, the crowds were shocked at his teaching: 29 for he was teaching them as (one) having power and not as their scribes.

According to Matthew 8: 1-4: The Cleansing of a Leper
1 But (at) his coming down from the hill great crowds followed him. 2 And behold a leper approaching him bowed in worship saying, "Lord, if you wish, you can cleanse me." 3 And stretching out his hand he touched him saying, "I wish, be clean": and immediately the leper was cleansed. 4 And Jesus says to him, "Make sure you tell no one, but rather go (and) show yourself to the priest and offer the gift which Moses commanded, in testimony for them.

According to Matthew 8: 5-13: The Healing of a Centurion's Servant
5 But (at) his entering into Capernaum a centurion approached him(,) begging him 6 and saying, "Lord, my servant* is lying in the house paralyzed, tormented terribly." 7 And he says to him, "Coming(,) I will heal him." 8 And the centurion(,) answering(,) said, "Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be restored. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to this (one), "Go", and he goes, and to another, "Come", and he comes, and to my servant, "Do this", and he does. 10 But hearing Jesus marveled and said to those following, "Truly I tell you, I have found such faith with no one in Israel. 11 But I tell you that many will come from (the) east and (the) west and they will be seated with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outermost darkness: there is bitter weeping and grinding of teeth." 13 And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go, as you have believed it will be to you." And [his] servant was restored from that hour.

According to Matthew 8: 14-17: The Healing of Many People
14 And coming into Peter's house Jesus saw his mother-in-law lying (sick) and fevered: 15 and he took hold of her hands and her fever was dismissed, and she got up and waited on him.
16 But (at) the coming of evening many demoniacs were brought to him: and he cast out the spirits with a word and he healed all the badly sick, 17 thus was fulfilled the word (spoken) through Isaiah the prophet(,) saying,
He took our sicknesses and carried (our) diseases.

According to Matthew 8: 28-34: The Healing of the Gadaren Demoniacs
28 And (at) his coming to the other side(,) into the country of the Gadarenes(,) two demoniacs coming out of the tombs met him, exceedingly violent, so that* they were unable to go through that road. 29 And behold they called out to him saying, "Why (are) we and you (here), son of God? Do you come here before the time to torment us?" 30 But far away from them was a herd of pigs grazing. 31 But the demons begged him saying, "If you cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs." 32 And he said to them, "Go." But leaving they went into the pigs: and behold all the herd rushed down from the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters. 33 But the herders were afraid, and going away into the city they told all even of the demoniacs. 34 And behold all the city coming to meet Jesus and seeing him begged that he might go from their region.

According to Matthew 9: 1-8: The Healing of a Paralytic
1 And stepping into the boat he crossed over and went into his own city. 2 And behold they brought him a paralytic lying on a couch. And seeing their faith Jesus said to the paralytic, "Take courage, child, your sins are forgiven." 3 And behold certain of the scribes said to themselves, "This (man) is blaspheming." 4 And seeing their thoughts Jesus said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For what is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven', or to say, 'Get up and walk'? 6 But that you might see that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins--" Then he says to the paralytic, "Rising(,) take up your couch and go into your home." 7 And getting up he went away into his home. 8 But(,) seeing(,) the crowds feared and praised God who had given such authority to men.

Matthew 9: 14-17: The Question about Fasting
14 Then John's disciples came to him saying, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast [much] but your disciples do not fast?" 15 And Jesus said to them, "Can the sons of the bridegroom mourn inasmuch as* he is with them? But the day will come when the bridegroom goes away from them, and then they will mourn. 16 But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old cloak; for its patch will pull from the cloak and their will be a bigger tear. 17 Nor do they put new wine in an old wineskin; but if not, the wineskin will burst and the wine spill out and the wineskin be ruined; rather they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.

According to Matthew 9: 18-26: The Ruler's Daughter and the Woman Who Touched Jesus' Garment
18 (At) his speaking of these things to them(,) behold a ruler coming to worship him saying, "My daugher has now died: but coming put your hand on her and she will live." 19 And rising Jesus and his disciples followed him.
20 And behold a woman with a chronic bleeding for twelve years approaching him from behind touched the edge of his garment: 21 for she said to herself, "If only I may touch his garment I will be saved." 22 But Jesus(,) turning and seeing her(,) said, "Courage, daughter: your faith has saved you." And the woman was saved from that hour.
23 And Jesus entering into the house of the ruler and seeing the flute players and the crowd in confusion 24 said, "Go away, for the girl has not died but is sleeping." And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd was expelled(,) going in he took her hands, and the girl got up. 26 And this news went out into that whole land.
